Tosamaidan Lake is located at
Tosamaidan in
Badgam District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Tosamaidan is about 10 km from
Khag Valley.
The source of this lake is the Sut Haran Spring. The specialty of the lake is that the water which falls into the lake from the spring has sweet taste.
Legend tells that the spring is connected with the epic Ramayana. Nearby is a rock which, according to the legend, was used by Sita to sit on.
