Beerwah is a sub divisional town in
Badgam District, located about 35 km south-west of
Srinagar. It is believed that Guru Nanak had visited this place in the early years of the 16th century. Beerwah is enriched with all the natural features of
Jammu and Kashmir.
A Sikh shrine, Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Charan Asthan Dukhnivaran, located here was renovated in 1975. Situated on the banks of the famous
Sukhnag Spring, the
gurdwara has a divan hall and sanctum in the middle.
Abno Gupta's cave is another attraction in the vicinity of Beerwah.
