Anchar

Anchar is a charming village lying near Gandarbal in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 11 km north of Srinagar and is at an altitude of 5,154 ft above sea level.

Mirapur in the west, Batsapor in the north, Sora in the east and Bahloujipura in the south form the neighboring places of Anchar. Anchar Lake and Sindh Nallah are the prime attractions of this place.

Anchar can be reached from Srinagar. Udhampur Railway Station serves this area.
