Suraj Tal Lake




Suraj Tal Lake, 4,980 m above the sea level, is 65 km from Keylong in the Lahaul division of Lahaul and Spiti District. It lies at the foot of the Baralacha Pass, which connects Manali and Lahaul to Ladakh.

Suraj Tal is considered sacred and is the source of the Bhaga River. With snow-capped mountains forming the backdrop, it is one of the popular tourists' spots of Lahaul and Spiti District. August to November is the best time to visit.

There are several government rest houses and budget hotels ensuring a cozy accommodation.
