The Choordhar peak is located in
Himachal Pradesh. Towering over 3,647 meter above sea level, The Peak is a favorite destination for trekking enthusiasts. It is a 50 km trek for those approaching from Dadahu, Sangarh, Bhawai, and Gandhuri. From Nahura, it is a 16 km walk to the top.
Though the ascent is tiresome, the effort is rewarding as one gets captivated by the astounding sights one could get from the pinnacle. The sweeping views of the Gangetic plains and the Sutlej River in the South, Badrinath (a well known Hindu pilgrim centre) in the North, and the scintillating sight of the hills of Chakrata and Shimla are an unforgettable experience.
Choordhar can also be approached from Rajgarh.
