Solang Valley is located in
Kullu District and is around 15 km north-west of
Manali.
Along with its scenic beauty, Solang valley is recognized for winter sports and other adventure activities like mountaineering, trekking and paragliding. The valley also offers one of the most spectacular ski slopes in the western Himalayas and breathtaking views of the Pir Panjal ranges.
The best time to visit is during January and February.
