Tara Devi Temple is situated on a hilltop, 11 km from
Shimla bus station. The temple is devoted to
Goddess Tara, a prominent deity of Tibetan Buddhism. Goddess Tara is one of the nine sisters of
Goddess Durga. In honor of this deity a special fair is also conducted every year. It is a perfect place for a person in need of peace and rest.
Another temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated nearby.
