Satrundi is a picturesque village situated about 15 km from
Traila, in the
Chamba District of
Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an elevation of about 3,400 m above sea level, on the
Manali -
Chamba - Sach Pass trek route in
Pangi Valley. Satrundi is surrounded by flowering meadows and dense forests. Satrundi is inhabited by the tribe of Gujjars.
Sach Pass is only five kilometers from this village. Other nearby tourist destinations are Bhanodi,
Killar, Sach Village,
Tissa, Bharmaur, Sarotri Pass,
Bindrabani, Dharamsala and
Purthi. Accommodation is available. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering.
