Moorang




Moorang is a scenic village situated at an altitude of 2276 m above sea level in Kinnaur District, Himachal Pradesh. Situated 39 km from Kalpa, on the left bank of Sutlej River, it is famous for the dense apricot orchards. The village is bounded by high mountains on three sides except west side.

Major point of attraction here is the Moorang Fort, believed to be built by Pandavas.

Moorang is 26 km from Powari on the National Highway 22. It is also spelt as Morang.
