Bhrigu Lake, situated 4,235 m above the sea level, is 13 km from
Manali and 6 km from Gulaba village. Though the shores of lake are devoid of human habitation, it is a popular tourist place and is considered sacred. Rishi Bhrigu, a great saint, meditated here and wrote the holy book, Bhrigu Sanhita.
Located in Kullu District, Bhrigu Lake is east of Rothang Pass, a site with spectacular views of glaciers and peaks. Nehru Kund, a natural spring of cold water, originates from this lake. Several trek routes adjoin Bhrigu.
