Jamu Peak is 8 km from Renuka lake, the largest in
Himachal Pradesh. The Peak offers a bird's eyeview of the lake and its surroundings. According to myths, the great sage Jamadagini had chosen this place for his meditation. The small temple here is believed to mark the spot where he sat. A small, winding footpath leads up to this temple.
