Bhuntar


Bhuntar, situated on the confluence of the Parbati and Beas rivers, is one of the main towns of Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh. Bhuntar is around 10 km south of Kullu.

The road from Bhuntar to Manali is dotted with shops selling Kullu shawls.

Kullu Manali Airport is located at Bhuntar. Nearest railhead is at Pathankot. National Highway 21 passes through Bhuntar. Frequent buses ply between Kullu and Bhuntar.
