Dharvedi is a vigorous religious dance performed at the time of Jagaras or Shant, and during the
Dussehra season in
Kullu District of
Himachal Pradesh. This depicts scenes of valor or piety. The dancers often move in circles, lie down on the ground suddenly or stike various poses including that of a stupa (tower). Dharvedi is very similar to
Droondu dance.
