Spiti River




Spiti River, originating at an altitude of 16,000 ft high from the Kunzum Range, is a main tributary of the Sutlej River - the largest among the five rivers of Himachal Pradesh.

The tributaries of Spiti River are Tegpo and Kabzian streams. Huge mountains rise to very high elevations on either side of the Spiti River and its numerous tributaries. The river flows through the Spiti valley and merges with river Sutlej at Namgaya in Kinnaur District.
