Larot is a charming village situated 17 km from
Chirgaon,
Himachal Pradesh.
The place, rich in forest cover and flashing meadows, is ideal for skiing and hence is a favored tourist spot. Larot also serves as a base village to Chanshal pass. Chanshal Ghati, situated nearby at an altitude of 3800 m, is an ideal stopover for treks to villages of Dodra and Kwar.
Since the area is abundant in medicinal plants, one may feel dizzy with its strong aroma; also, it is strongly advised against trying any colorful fruits found on the way as it could be poisonous and life threatening.
