Ibex (Capra ibex) is a solidly built goat. The general color of the coat is yellowish white, more or less tinged with brown and gray.
The male has a great beard and a coat of coarse brittle hairs. The dense under-fur of wool helps the animal to withstand the intense cold. The great scimitar-shaped horns of the buck are flat, and bossed with bold ridges in front. Height of male at shoulder is around 100 cm. The horns of males measures up to 100 to 115 cm around the curve.
In India, it is found in Himachal Pradesh.
