Bhangani is a picturesque village located about 10 km from Paonta, Sirmaur District. It is the place where the historic battle between Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, and the hill rajas took place in 1688.
Gurdwara Bhangani Sahib is the major attraction at Bhangani. Dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, this gurdwara stands at the spot where the battle took place. Apart from this, there is another Sikh shrine, the Gurdwara Tirgarh Sahib. The famous Yamuna River flows through nearby.
