Rai is a small village situated on the
Grand Trunk Road, 11 km from
Sonipat, in
Haryana. This small hamlet is now a fast growing industrial area in the state. The Moti Lal Nehru School of Sports, situated here, is a premier sports institute in the state. Rai is about 32 km from
Delhi.
The nearest airport is at New Delhi. Sonipat has regular trains to New Delhi, Panipat, Rohtak, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
