Kohand

Kohand is a major business center in Karnal District, Haryana. It lies towards the southern border of the district with Panipat District, about 6 km from Gharaunda and 13 km north of Panipat.

There are around 30 spinning mills in the town. Ibrahim Lodhi's Tomb and Kabuli Bagh Mosque are some interesting sites nearby.

The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. Panipat Junction Railway Station (13 km) and Karnal Railway Station (16 km) serve Kohand. Kohand Bus Stand is 11 km from Panipat, on the Panipat-Karnal route. National Highway 1 has its route through Kohand.
