Dhankot is 11 km west of
Gurgaon, on the Gurgaon-Farrukhnagar road in
Haryana. The place has mythological significance. It is believed that milk was supplied to Guru Dronacharya and his pupils from this place.
Lord Buddha is said to have visited the place, recorded in the Buddhist accounts as Thullkottiha.
