Gurdwara Gobind Pura Sahib

Gurdwara Gobind Pura Sahib is a beautiful building on the Jain College Road in Ambala, Haryana. It was built in honor of the 10th Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh Sahib. The gurdwara consist of a main hall, the Dashmesh Barat Ghar, library, dispensary and staff quarters.

Guru Gobind Singh Sahib trained sparrows to successfully fight against the hawk of Pir Amir Din (a rival of Sikhs) here. The gurdwara has been constructed at the spot where the hawk fell dead. There is also a well in its premises, which has turned sweet by the visit of the guru. He also ordained that whoever bathes in the water from this well would achieve salvation.

Labbu ka Talab is a nearby attraction. Gurdwara Gobind Pura Sahib also offers accommodation for the pilgrims.
