Purna Sanctuary is situated in the northern part of
Dangs District,
Gujarat.
Crossed by Purna and Gira rivers, this 160 sq km sanctuary is home to wild bulls, elephants, sloth bear and rhinoceros. Bamboo lined pathways are set for trekkers. Saputara Hill Station is a nearby attraction.
Best time to visit is from November to March.
Nearest railhead and bus station are at Vyara, 20 km away.
