Lakhtar

Lakhtar is a taluk headquarters in Surendranagar District of Gujarat. It is situated about 9 km to the east of Vana and 29 km to the south of Bajana. It is well connected by road with Wadhwan, Viramgam and Limbdi.

Shri Shiyani Teerth on the Limbadi- Lakhtar road is a major Jain pilgrim site. Raj Mahal and Hawa Mahal, Swami Narayan Temple, Wagheshwari Devi Temple and Ranakdevi Temple at Wadhwan are major places of attraction. Green Chowk, Gandhi Smriti Mandir, Jain Bhandar, old palace and bazaar at Limbdi are also worth-visiting.
