Vansda National Park was the private forest of Mahararaja of Vansda. Spread over an area of 24 sq km, the park is now under the control of the government. It houses tigers, leopards, four horned antelope, pangolins,
rusty spotted cats, pythons and giant squirrels. Monkeys and langoor are the main attractions of the park. Covered by tall teak trees, some parts of the park are dark even during day time. Prior permission is needed to visit the park.
