Salaya Port is a minor port in
Jamnagar District in
Gujarat. It lies at
Salaya, which is about 72 km south-west of
Jamnagar.
This is an important tidal port on the the coast of Gulf of Kutch, providing shelter to all types of country crafts. Till the early part of 19th century, Salaya was the main port of Jamnagar. The port is an all weather lighterage port for sailing vessels.
