Shri Sherisha Teerth




Established in the 13th century VS (Vikram Samvat) by Shri Devchandracharya, Shri Sherisha Teerth is an ancient Jain temple situated at Sherisha, around 8 km away from Kalol Railway Station. Shri Parshwanath Bhagvan in the padmasana posture is the presiding deity. During the Muslim attack, the temple was damaged and it was renovated in 2002 Vikram Samvat. Shri Sherisha Teerth is managed by a trust called Shri Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi. Dharamshala and bhojanshala facilities are also available. Present on Ahmedabad-Kalol route, Shri Sherisha Teerth is around 8 km from Kalol. Kalol is situated on Mehsana-Ahmedabad road at the distance of 45 km from Mehsana.
