Situated at Layji in the
Kutch District of
Gujarat, Shri Layji Teerth is an ancient Jain temple dedicated to Bhagvan
Mahavir. The temple is managed by a trust called Shri Layji Kutch Visa Oswal Deravasi Jain Mahajan. Installation of the main idol took place on the eleventh day of the bright half of the month of Magh in the year 1979 of the Vikram era. The images of Bhagvan Risabhdev and Bhagvan Ajitnath are also present. A marble Samavasarana is present in the upper part of this two-storeyed temple. An image of Bhagvan Parshvanath, belonging to the times of King Samprati, is also installed in this temple.
