Mahatma Gandhi in the 1950s. The philosophy of Sarvodaya is aimed at world fraternity. The Gandhian social philosophy of non-violent means of social transformation was the central philosophy of the Indian concept of Sarvodaya. Sarvodaya advocates true self-realization of the individual through dedicated service to the community, especially its weaker sections.
