Shri Naroda Teerth is a highly revered Jain pilgrim site situated at
Naroda, about 8 km north-east of
Ahmedabad, in
Gujarat. The temple enshrines a 33 cm high white colored idol of Bhagwan Godiji Parshwanath in the Padmasana posture. Besides the chief idol there is a very miraculous idol of Padmavati Devi.
The walls of the temple are adorned with exquisite paintings. Many ruins found from a hillock near this temple points out that it is an ancient temple. Large number of devotees visit the temple on auspicious occasions and offer a Chundadi (a silken garment with designs painted on it) to Padmavati Devi.
Naroda Railway Station, on the Ahmedabad – Himmatnagar railway line of Western Railways, is the nearest railhead.
