Mahuva is a village situated in the
Bhavnagar District of
Gujarat. It has a small port and is well-known for handicraft work in wood and ivory. The people of this village specialize in lacquer work on wooden furniture and toys. The fertile land of Mahuva bears 'Jamadar' mangoes similar to Alphonso, the king of mangoes.
There is a Laxminarayan Temple and a Jain Dehrasar Temple. The sacred Shatrunjaya hill rising above Palitana is the most famous place near this village.
