Kothara is a village situated 80 km from Bhuj in
Kutch District. This village houses one of the ancient temples in
Gujarat called Kothara Teerth.
Built in the later half of the 19th century, this temple has a 90 cm high idol of Shri Shantinath Bhagwan. Apart from the temple, there is a magnificent fort with five cells. Thousands of devotees throng the village during the major festival. Suthari Teerth is only 12 km from here. Accommodation facilities are available here.
