Shapur

Shapur is a small settlement in Junagadh District and is on the outskirts of Junagadh. It is located on National Highway 8D and is 16 km south-west of Junagadh and 23 km north of Keshod.

Uparkot Fort and Damodar Kund are nearby tourist spots. Chowad Beach, Ahmedpur Mandvi Beach, Sasan Gir Forest and Sanctuary and Somnath Temple constitute short excursions outside Shapur.

Nearest international airport is at Ahmedabad and domestic airport is at Porbandar. Junagadh Junction Railway Station serves Shapur.
