Kachchi, also spelt as Cuchi and Kachi, is the language spoken by Kutchis, who reside primarily in
Rann of Kutch in
Gujarat, Central India and
Uttar Pradesh. In contrast to other major languages, Kachchi does not have a script. It is close to
Sindhi and is most widely spoken by Muslims of North India and Pakistan. Kachchi is also spoken in some parts of South India, especially in
Kerala and
Karnataka.
