Patdi is a taluk headquarters in the northern part of Surendranagar District, Gujarat. Little Rann of Kutch covers the west and north. Patdi is situated to the north of Bajana (8 km) and Vithalgadh (28 km), and to the west of Viramgam (25 km).
The Rupen River courses through the northern border of the taluk. The 11th century sandstone fortress at Patdi is a major attraction. Wild Ass Sanctuary is within a short drive.
