Bharuch Teerth is a Jain temple situated at
Bharuch, in
Gujarat. This temple is dedicated to the Jain deity Munisuvrat Swami. The temple features the verses from the holy book of Jain religion, Bhaktamar Strotra, on its marble walls. It is the first Jain temple in India to display those verses. The idol of Acharya Mantung, the writer of Bhaktamar Strotra is also installed in the temple. Numerous Jain saints visited this temple and wrote many sacred scriptures.
It is believed that Munisuvrat Swami had given spiritual knowledge to the sacrificial horse prepared for a ritual called Ashvamedh Yajna (sacrifice). The temple was called as Ashvabodh temple after the ritual. The managing trust of this temple is Shri Munisuvratswami Jain Teerth, Jain Dharm Fund Pedhi.
