Tonca

Tonca lies on the banks of the Mandovi River, in the northern part of Ponda taluk, in North Goa District. It is about 2 km north of Candola and 2 km south-west of Amone.

Se Cathedral Church, Church of St Francis of Assisi, the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Marcela Temple near Candola are shrines which cater to both tourists and pilgrims.

The place be approached from Goa Airport and Karmali Railway Station.
