Madei Wildlife Sanctuary is located in
Sattari in
North Goa District,
Goa.
Spread over 208 sq km, the sanctuary is a link between Bhagvan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and the reserve forests of Sawantwadi in Maharashtra. With a massive forest cover, the sanctuary is the abode of various species of birds, reptiles and other creatures.
The sanctuary is around 70 km Panaji and 106 km from Margao.
