Shri Saunsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevotam Math is located at
Partagali, on the banks of the holy rivulet Kushawati, in
South Goa District. Popularly known as Bramhasthan, it is an accident mutt (religious center) of the Gaud Saraswat Brahmin Vaishnavites. Established by Shi Narayanateertha Swamiji in 1475 AD, the mutt has an uninterrupted tradition of twenty three Swamiji (saints).
In front of the ashram is Vatavriksha, a huge banyan tree, which is considered a Tapasya Kshetra (shrine) for over a thousand years. People of Partagali and adjoining area worship Vatavriksha along with Ishwar linga, which is also seen in the front.
Partagali is about 45 km from Margao. The nearest railhead is Canacona Railway Station.
