Also called Loltem, Loliem is in South Goa District of Goa. It is in Canacona taluk, near the Goa-Karnataka border, and is nearly 3 km from Tanos and 4 km from Poliem.
Loliem has a couple of ancient 'hero' stones, etchings on stone to record historic events of the time dating back many centuries. The Betal statue in this village, possibly a pre-Hindu deity, probably dates back to the seventh century. Polem Beach, Rajbhag Beach, and Galjibag Beach are choice tourist destinations.
