Canaguinim

Canaguinim is a small village in the south-western end of Goa, on the Arabian coast, in Quepem taluk of South Goa District. Pirward is around 2 km north-east and Dabem is nearly 4 km west.

The major attraction of the place is the Canaguinim Beach, a small beach lying just north of the fortress of Cabo de Rama. There are rocks and a river inlet at the end of this sand beach. Little Cola and Big Cola beaches are nearly 8 km away. Betul Beach and Mabor Beach are other nearby prime tourist destinations. ShantaDurga Temple, dedicated to goddess Shakti, is at a short distance.

Goa Airport and Balli Railway Station are the main access points. Canaguinim is linked with Quepem, the taluk headquarters, by road.
