Miramar beach, a lovely golden beach surrounded by palm trees is one of the most popular beaches in
Goa. It is located about 3 km from
Panaji. Originally it was known as the 'Gasper Dias Beach'. Watching the golden sunset is a major preoccupation for tourists at this beach. It is an urban beach where the
Mandovi River meets the
Arabian Sea. An excellent view of the
Aguada fort across the Mandovi River is available from here. November to March is the ideal time to visit.
