Church of Mae de Deus, located at
Saligao (
Bardez,) is surrounded by picturesque scenery. It was built in 1873. The church is dedicated to Mae de Deus (Mother of God), brought from the ruins of the convent of Mae de Deus in
Old Goa. The architecture of the church is deeply influenced by Gothic style.
