Malpem

Malpem is in the upper part of North Goa District, near Goa-Maharashtra border. It is roughly 2 km from Pernem and 3 km west of Varconda.

The Tiracol River flows close by. Mulvir Temple is the prominent shrine in this area. Shree Shantadurga Temple , Alorna Fort and Terekhol Fort are worth visiting.

Goa Airport and Pernem Railway Station are the main access points. The National Highway 17 passes close by.
