Amone is a small town in Bicholim taluk of North Goa District. It is near Ponda taluk, and is 4 km west of Cudnem and 4 km north of Betgui.
Shree Mahalakshmi temple is located here. Vasant Panchami Jatra is one of the main festivals celebrated here. Sanquelim Fort, a protected monument in Goa, is nearby. Shree Dattatreya Temple, dedicated to Lord Dattatreya, is a highly revered shrine in the neighborhood.
