Costi, around 4 km from
Mavlinguem, is in the north-eastern side of
South Goa District, near its border with the state of
Karnataka. Cormonem is 8 km north, Bandoli is 7 km west and Muguli is 2 km south.
The Pig Iron Project of the Goa Carbon Ltd is the main landmark of the village.
Costi is approachable from Sanguem, Mollem and Sanvordem by road. Goa Airport, about 40 km away, is the closest airport. Kalem Railway Station is about 4 km north-east.
