Orgao

Located in the northern region of Ponda taluk, Orgao is a small town in North Goa District. It is close to the taluk ’s border with Tiswadi and Bicholim taluks. Orgao is around 5 km north-west of Volvoi and 7 km east of Old Goa.

The Marcela Temple is the nearest shrine. Se Cathedral Church, Church of St Francis of Assisi and the Basilica of Bom Jesus are some of the famous churches in Old Goa, which savor of an old world charm characteristic of Goa.

Goa Airport and Karmali Railway Station are the main access points. The place is linked with National Highway 4A by road.
