Royal Baths is a large apartment situated adjacent to
Diwan-e-Khas of the
Red Fort, the largest monument of
Delhi. It was the place where royalty took hot saunas and perfumed baths. The apartment is also known as Sheesh Mahal or the royal hammam.
The mahal consists of three large rooms surmounted by domes, with a fountain in the center, of this one was set up as a sauna. It has marbled floor and is illuminated through panels of colored glass in the roof.
