Begampiri Masjid is one of the seven mosques built By Khan-I-Jahan, the Prime Minister of Feroze Shah Tughlaq. It is situated near the Aurobindo Ashram on the Delhi-
Mehrauli Road. The mosque has a large courtyard and a three-aisle deep prayer-hall. The courtyard, 94m x 88m, is enclosed by arched cloisters on all the sides. The facade of the prayer-hall has 24 arched openings and its central compartment is surmounted by a large dome.
