Jahanpanah city forest, a sprawling 800-acre green belt is located between
Tughlaqabad and Chiragh Delhi and passes through
Alaknanda and
Greater Kailash Part II. Originally part of the fourth citadel of
Delhi, this city forest serves as green lungs for a large part of
South Delhi District. Frequented by nature enthusiasts and morning walkers alike, Jahanpanah city forest is also a favorite picnic spot during winter months.
