Kudurmal is a small village situated on the right side of Urga village, which is about 15 km from
Korba, in
Chhattisgarh. The village is regarded holy by the devotees of Saint Kabir. There is a Kabir Ashram established in 1570 by Shri Mukhtamani Saheb, a great disciple of Shri Satguru Kabir Saheb.
Major point of attraction here is the Samadhi (about 500 years old) of the disciple of Saint Kabir. Other places worth visiting include Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple, built by saint Mahatma Kevlal Patel; Samadhi of Chunamani Saheb, the first priest of the Kabir Sect; and the Samadhis of Shri Ali Saheb and Pratap Vanshacharya Kulapat.
Sandals of Shri Mukthamani can be sighted near the Samadhi area. The ashram preserves an epic Asha Sagar, which was hand-written in the Pandulipi script.
Kudurmal annually hosts a big fair on Magh Purnima (January and February), which attracts a large crowd.
